How will I feel after the treatment?

Many people feel very different as soon as they get off the treatment plinth; they notice improvements in their new body position, their gait may feel lightly different, pain is reduced, increased range of movement and others start to feel the changes over a couple of days. It is not unusual to feel your body standing and moving differently between treatments. Some people may feel very tired or have a boost of energy after the treatment, digestive changes and others comment that they had a change in the feelings they were experiencing. Please think of this as your body sorting out a new way of reacting to the changes. Reporting changes back to your practitioner will be a major benefit in your treatment structure.

In order to keep your body well hydrated after your treatment we advise that you drink plenty of water and try to avoid those foods that could commonly cause dehydration. In some acute cases you may be advised to avoid vigorous physical exercise for 24 – 48 hours. Please ask your therapist for specific advice.
